International GT Racing comes to Austin

Top GT racers will take to the track in Austin next month in a weekend event that will feature the GT World Challenge America — the North American portion of a global race car competition.

GT or Gran Turismo racing refers to the popular form of sports car racing that includes automobiles with two seats and enclosed wheels. Historically, competing vehicles had to be in series production, but in the mid-1970s a new class was created for cars that had exterior bodies that looked like production models but had different internal fittings.

The American SRO Motorsports Group will present the upcoming Austin racing events. The group, founded by industry executive Stéphane Ratel in 1995, is known internationally as a leader in GT racing.

The weekend action will also feature Pirelli GT4, the inaugural Texas Enduro race as well as the Toyota GR Cup and other races. SRO America will offer spectators broad paddock access. Tickets will provide autograph opportunities, grid walks, garage zone and fan zone access. In addition, kids under 12 can attend for free when accompanied by a paying adult.

Promoters of large public sporting events such as this often have professional printing services produce their advertising materials.

The GT World Texas event will be held at The Circuit of Americas facility in Austin from April 24 to 26, 2026. Tickets and further information are available online.
