According to owner Sianni Dean the 2nd location will have a larger kitchen and offer more take-out options. The 26-year-old Dean announced securing the second location recently on social media:
"We have about 1,400 square feet, but about half the store is toward dining and things that nature like our front of house. We get kind of tight when we are trying to do a lot more cinnamon rolls in a day. We're going to be able to be a lot more customer focused and product focused with this location."
Flyer printing services benefit new enterprises as well as new locations for established ones.
Cranky Granny’s started out during the COVID-19 pandemic as a catering business that evolved into a brick-and-mortar enterprise at the Domain outdoor mall. The business moved to Pflugerville in 2023 where its cinnamon rolls and other desserts grew in popularity. The new location unlike the current one will not offer indoor dining but will instead be a to-go only concept.
Dean hopes to finish the second location and have it up and running by January 2026. The young entrepreneur has aspirations to branch out across the state to locations such as Dallas, Houston, Killeen, San Antonio and perhaps even a shop at the airport.
