Austin might be known for the annual SXSW festival, but that's not the only major music event to grace the city each year. As spring starts to warm up, Austin will be the host of several other festivals.
Music festivals can use Print shops to let people know about their existence and to outline who will be playing and when, as well as any other important details.
From April 19 to April 22, the Old Settler's Music Festival will take place in Tilmon. The festival will be headlined by indie-rock band Calexico, along with I'm With Her, JD McPherson and Greensky Bluegrass.
The festival is moving to a new location this year, over in Caldwell County. The new location will mean more space, but also a longer travel time from the city itself. Tickets to the festival range from $35 to $550.
That same weekend, the Austin Reggae Fest is slated to take place at Auditorium Shores. An annual event, the Reggae Fest is celebrating its 25th year in 2018. Groups expected to perform at this year's festival include Kabaka Pyramind, New Kingston, the Wailers, and Collie Buddz.
A portion of the proceeds from ticket sales go to the Central Texas Food Bank. Prices range from $15 for admission on Friday or Sunday, $20 for Saturday admission, and $45 for the full three days.
