The 17th annual installment of the “Run the Ranch 5K and Kids Fun Run” is set to take place in Austin this March.
The proceeds from the event will benefit the Hill Country Special Needs Alliance, an organization dedicated to assisting families and caregivers in Cedar Park, Four Points, and other areas of Austin in overcoming the financial challenges associated with special conditions.
Adults accompanying participants in the children’s race need not register separately. The race will span a distance of 1k - or approximately 0.67 miles - ensuring a manageable challenge for young participants.
All children participating in the kid's race will receive a completion medal. Awards will be distributed across various age categories, with separate prizes for female and male participants. 5K bibs will be equipped with chips for timing purposes; however, the bibs for the Kids Fun Run will not have this feature.
The 5K run will cost $35 and the kid's run will cost $20. Attendees can sign up for the event at the Run Sign Up listing. The event will take place no matter the weather.

Attendees will be able to find the Start and Finish points at 12550 Country Trails Lane, Austin, Texas on Saturday, March 2. The Kids Fun Run is set to commence at 8:30am, followed by the 5K race starting at 8:45am.
