The Annual Austin Saengerrunde AustOberfest is coming to town later this year, bringing entertainment, authentic German favorite foods and an array of activities.

Previously owned by the Lemp Brewery, the Scholz Garden offered a dance hall along with a bowling alley and restaurant. Carrying on the German heritage has been the goal of this organization for centuries.
Proceeds from the event will benefit the Foodways Texas. The non-profit organization works to celebrate the food culture diversity in the state.

Sausage participants have include Miller’s Smokehouse, Black’s BBQ, Louie Muller Barbecue, and Southside Market.
The Warren Hood Band and Emily Gimble will be performing on stage at the event. Other entertainment will be added as the weeks go along.
