The city of Austin, Texas, will welcome the new year with a hoedown and fireworks.
At the outdoor music venue Vic Mathias Shores, the live acts begin at 7:00 pm. Between 8:00 pm and 9:00 pm, the headliners play, and at 10:00 pm, there will be an enormous fireworks finale. Attendance is free-for-all activities at Auditorium Shores.
