The Paramount Theatre presents Dita Von Teese as Glamonatrix in the new year.
Dita Von Teese, who was born Heather Renee Sweet in West Branch, Michigan, is widely credited for having revived burlesque and introduced sense of class, flair, and refinement. She is renowned for designing elaborate sets and performance outfits embellished with Swarovski crystals. Her most recent revue, "Glamonatrix," had its debut in Australia and New Zealand before touring the UK, where over 27,000 tickets were sold alone.
The 41-city tour proceeded around Europe with sold-out performances at the Burgtheater in Vienna, the Opera Garnier in Monte Carlo, and Folies Bergère in Paris. On New Year's Eve, The Glamonatrix show will continue, followed by performances throughout Canada and the United States.
Tickets range from $53 to $333. Those interested in attending can purchase a VIP Package/Meet and Greet add-on for $225. This includes a signed poster and a one-on-one opportunity to meet Dita and take a photo. Attendees must be 18 or older to see the show.
