Austin cupcake shop to offer vodka-infused sweets

Sprinkles, a cupcake bakery, is known for satisfying people's sweet tooth 24 hours a day through its cupcake ATMs.

Just in time for summer, it is introducing two new cupcake flavors to the Austin market, both of which feature Tito's Vodka. Based in Texas, Tito's is the oldest distillery in the state.

Bakeries that are introducing new summertime flavors can use banner printing to advertise the new options.

The cupcake bakery will roll out the vokda-infused baked goods one at a time. First up will be Tito's Down Home Punch, available through July 8. The cupcake will have an orange-flavored cake and a berry pomegranate compote filling. The frosting will be a lemon berry marble frosting infused with Tito's vodka. To finish the cupcake, bakers will sprinkle it with cinnamon sugar.

Once the Down Home Punch cupcake gets retired, it will be replaced with Tito's American Mule. The American Mule cupcake will be available from July 9 until July 22. It will feature a ginger cake with crystallized ginger pieces. A lime-vodka infused frosting will top it off.

The cupcakes will cost between $4 and $5.25 each, depending on the location. The bakery is taking pre-orders for the new flavors.

The Austin location of Sprinkles is located at 3120 Palm Way. The bakery itself is open weekdays until 10:00 pm, Fridays and Saturdays until 11:00 pm and Sundays until 9:00 pm. The cupcake ATM is available 24/7.
