Mother Nature gives people many gifts, and an Austin workshop will explore how natural materials can be used to create attractive art paper.
Those who register for this Windsor Park class will learn the art of creating marbled paper using the materials provided. The project will be eco-friendly, and the dyes used will be sourced from the natural world.
Attendees will be walked through the steps of preparing marbled paper, which they can take home to use for wrapping a small gift, making note cards, or scrapbooking. The activity will take place outdoors to take full advantage of the pleasant spring weather, and refreshments will be served. Stain-friendly clothing is sternly recommended as the dyes used may drip, and everyone should bring along a tray so they can easily transport their paper home.
Learning a new activity especially enjoyable when done as part of a larger group. A flyer printing company can craft marketing materials that can be a highly cost-effective way of promoting an event to the public in the local area.
This introduction to the art of making marbled art paper will be held on Saturday, April 1. Everyone who Signs up to take part is asked to be on site by 10:00 am. Tickets for the morning start at $130 and can be booked on the AllEvents listing.
