The 4th July in Austin brings celebrations throughout the city. Each event is family-friendly and welcomes residents and visitors.
One of the city’s renowned highlights of the holiday is the annual Willie Nelson’s 4th of July picnic. Nelson and friends gather together at the Circuit of the Americas speedway. Nelson invites his family members and other special guests.
The Austin Symphony will present a concert along with Fireworks in the tradition Austin has come to anticipate. Live entertainment along with food and drinks will be available along with local craft vendors. The fireworks will light up the sky over Lady Bird Lake.
Thirty vendors will be at the Quesoff at The Mohawk offering four categories for queso: meat, spice, veggie and the unique wild card. Local restaurants, home cooks and top chefs compete for the best queso. Queso ice cream has been seen at this event in the past…nothing is off limits.
Flyer printing is a project performed by local Print shops for vendors participating in events of this type. Flyers can contain the vendor’s business name, contact information and highlights of products available. They can be distributed in advance to create interest and handed out at the festival.
