The annual Armadillo Christmas Bazaar, now in its 44th year, will take place in coming weeks in Austin. The event offers 12 days of shopping for art and unique treasures. Gifts can be found in all price ranges as visitors learn about the artists and their stories.
Local and national award-winning artists will present work of all types, something for everyone on the gift list. Live music sparks the excitement of the season along with two full bars onsite.
Celebrated artists and galleries appearing at the show include AEM Gallery, Agave Sky, Alan Potter Ceramics, Allie Eileen, Barbara Danger Studio and dozens more. The music line-up offers over 30 well-known bands, singers and newcomers to the stage. Some of the bands on the agenda are Ulla, Gina Chavez, Micky and the Motorcars, Texicana Mamas, Shelley King and Beat Root Revival. Many more are scheduled, as well.
Brochure printing is often a project needed for events of this type. A brochure is a colorful marketing tool to promote activities and increase attendance.
Some new activities have been added to the fun this year including the Wishing Trees. Guests may write down a wish and tie it on one of the designated Wishing Trees in the Sun Radio Beach Plaza.
