Tigard to release new online reporting tool

A new online tool will be launched by the city of Tigard next month.

Tigard Service Request (TSR) will facilitate how residents can report issues that are not emergencies, such as broken streetlights, park maintenance, and potholes. These problems with be able to be reported with a computer, phone, or laptop, although the best experience will be on a computer.

Using TSR, residents can submit requests and be informed in a timely manner of updates on their requests. A notification will be sent when the request is received and when it has been resolved, to enable the city to keep residents informed and engaged with the community.

More details about such new portals and their benefits for residents can be provided with brochure printing.

This new online tool is an important part of the ongoing efforts of the City Council to enhance and modernize the services provided by the city. So far, the city has also implemented an upgraded system to streamline the payment of utility bills.

The TSR portal will be going online on Tuesday January 28. Training sessions will be hosted by the city at the Tigard Public Library to help residents learn how to use the tool. The first session will be from 10:00 to 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, February 1 and the second will be from noon to 1:00 p.m. on Wednesday, February 5.
