The city of Tigard has announced a new online planning, permitting, and licensing service.
This new service is called the Community Development Hub and enables residents to request permit inspections, apply for trade and engineering permits, view records, and pay invoices online. This new service has replaced ACA, which was used to submit code complaints and apply for trade permits; PayGov, which was used to make payments through ACA; and Selectron, which was used to request inspections.
What has not been replaced are existing services that are offered in person at the City of Tigard Permit Center on SW Hall Boulevard.
Applications that can be submitted through this new online service include engineering permit applications; trade permit applications; and addressing requests. Planned for the near future are land use applications, building permit applications, and license applications and renewals.
There are many user-friendly features in the new Community Development Hub. It can show someone the steps in a review process, including the real-time status of an application; automatically notify someone by email at important milestones in the process; summarize important details in the application for easy management and tracking; and consolidate multiple applications on a personalized dashboard for quick access.
Flyer printing can be used to inform residents of such new services and their offering of one place for licensing, planning, and permitting needs.
