The city of Tigard has a host of community events coming up, including a number of group walks.
Tigard will be hosting a Holiday Lights Walk this month. This will be a stroll for attendees to admire homes that are lit for the season along the Christmas Card Lane of Avon Street, as well as the memorable displays on homes along 87th Avenue, Martha Street, Hamlet Street, Millen Drive, and Copper Creek Drive.
Primo Expresso will have hot cocoa at the end of the walk. The Holiday Lights Walk will be held on Saturday, December 16 beginning at 6:00pm.
Tigard Walks is planning more walks for the new year too. The upcoming walks that have been announced are Cook Park on Saturday, January 6 and on Saturday, February 17. Both events will begin at 10:00am. The city is also accepting suggestions for group walks.
Such events are often promoted throughout a city with poster printing. Such Posters can also provide information for whom to contact to make suggestions for such walks.
Residents of Tigard are also invited to meet Jamey McDonald, the interim police chief, next month. The ‘Chat with the Chief’ is designed to enhance community and police relations by promoting an open dialogue between the police department and residents. Attendees can hear about current trends in crime, learn about what is happening in their community, and share their concerns.
Chat with the Chief will be held from 6:00pm to 7:30pm on Thursday, January 11 at the Summerfield Clubhouse.Get a Free Quote for Posters
