Tigard invited to enjoy some fall themed fun

September brings with it the brisk days of autumn, and in Tigard, it also means its time for the annual apple harvest at the John Tigard House.

Hosted by the Tigard Historical Association, the event draws people from a wide area. Guests can browse through the different displays that will be set up, and they can also watch how the apples are harvested, learn tricks for how to core and peel them and also see how they are transformed into an assortment of well known recipes.

After viewing the displays and demonstrations, the guests can enjoy a slice of freshly baked apple pie served with a scoop of ice cold ice cream. Those who come out can ask questions, chat with other visitors or just enjoy a relaxing afternoon. It will run from 1:00 pm until 4:00 pm, and offers a combination of fun and learning. Poster printing can be utilized by the organizers of events such as this to create an assortment of Promotional Products that market it to the local area.
