The Tigard Downtown Alliance (TDA) will be working with the support of Pharmaca Integrative Pharmacy to bring the Explore Downtown Tigard 2016 Street Fair back for another year.
Throughout the day of the event, there will be live music, special offers from local merchants, community vendors, food, children’s activities, and performances on the two stages that will be set up for the event.
Along with all of this, the day will kick off with the Tigard Tour de Parks Bike Ride, followed by the Family Fest Fun Run, and in the evening, the air will be filled with the sounds of salsa music as A Tour of Latin America brings a taste of that region to the area. There will be sugar skull style face painting, music, dance contests, themed food, and other activities.
All of this will be taking place in the city’s downtown on September 10, with the evening portion of the event being held in Tigard Street Trail plaza. Banner printing can be put to use in creating a variety of decorations and other items for festivities such as this, using materials that can withstand being outdoors and exposed to the elements.
