Tigard.
The recent announcement revealed that the shift was influenced by the apparent need to expand. Stationery printing in Tigard could be used to promote awareness of the fresh location. Hi-Tec Sports will be based on the southwestern section of Durham Road. The American chief executive for Hi-Tec, Simon Bonham, has told the Portland Business Journal:
"We are experiencing significant growth in sales and market share gain for both brands and this move will allow us to continue our aggressive growth plans.”
The brands that have been discussed are Hi-Tec and Magnum. The relocation was initially mentioned back in May. Prior to that date, the headquarters had been situated in downtown Portland. The corporation had made a switch from Modesto to Portland a few years before that.
Over 20 employees have been working for Hi-Tec at its center for some time. The founder of the corporation, Frank van Wezel, has maintained that Portland worked as a location because of its potential in terms of recruitment. He viewed it as a place where young and intelligent personnel could be hired without fuss.
However, Mr. Bonham has described some advantages that Tigard might have. For example, he has said that the fresh location is suitable for product showings. He has argued that the move will be positive for consumers and staff.
