Leading Internet services and marketing solutions provider Web.com is hosting a free seminar in Tigard, Oregon, focused on helping Portland area small businesses do a better job of marketing themselves online.
The event will occur at the Embassy Suite Portland-Washington Square, and is being held together with the Web.com Tour WinCo Foods Portland Open, presented by Kraft. It is Web.com’s collaboration with the PGA TOUR, and its sponsorship of the Web.com Tour, that is allowing it to develop this series of events for the benefit of small business entrepreneurs across the country.
Events such as this are often advertised through poster printing, as well as through a local SBA.
Justin Leedy, Web.com’s Director of Marketing, will be on hand to share tools and information that can help owners of small businesses increase their online visibility and maximize their online marketing efforts. Topics will include key elements of great websites, metrics to determine if a website is working properly, increasing website traffic and business, the ins and outs of mobile marketing, and understanding how to market their business efficiently on Twitter, Facebook, and Google.
Leedy told the Wall Street Journal that Web.com has a history of giving back, and that through the free Small Business Summit, the hope is to give small business owners the chance to talk to experts about how to succeed online.
The event occurs August 23rd at 9:00 am.
