September set to be a hot one in Tigard

Even though fall may be on the way, the area around Tigard is just starting to heat up, and the public is invited to come out and join in a party that will be all about peppers.

The hot pepper crop will soon be ready to harvest, and Los Roast will be firing up its specially designed roaster just for the occasion. The public is invited to come out and watch how the business uses this method to prepare the ingredient for use, and while they do, they can purchase chilis and other members of the Capsicum genus. A local printer will be able to supply branded ad specialties that can be given out to those who come out for a celebration such as this.

To help make the day even more festive, the organizers have invited a select group of local vendors that will be on site. Visitors to the shop can also purchase some of the taste treats that will be on offer, all of them featuring Los Roast chilis as a main seasoning. The plan is for it to be a fun occasion where the community can gather and welcome the brisk days of fall.

This event, which promises to heat up Concordia’s New Seasons Market, will begin on September 22. There is no cost to participate, and more details can be obtained by contacting Los Roast through its website.
