Tigard has begun work on its own heritage walk and trail, and is seeking input from the public about its design and route.
Those who attend the upcoming public meeting will be asked to walk the route, and as they do, there will be five stops made where they will be asked to share their opinions and feedback about the design ideas, including the art, colors and materials that are being considered for its construction. It will be a quarter-mile path and will be multi-use, and when complete, it will be well lit, and feature landscaping, cultural components and more.
Once the final plan has received approval at all levels, construction will begin, and it is expected that this will commence in 2018. According to the city, the goal is to create a connection between the rest of the city and its downtown core’s businesses and other amenities. Once completed, a local Print company will be able to Print maps and other Promotional Products to help market it to the area.
This exploration and feedback session for the proposed trail will be held on June 29th, starting at 5:00 pm and 6:00 pm. Those who wish to attend can choose the time best for them. The land next to 12345 SW Main Street has been selected as the meeting point before the walk begins. Everyone is welcome to come and have a say in the planning of their city, and more information has been made available on the Tigard website.Get a Free Quote for Promotional Products Get a Free Quote for Print
