One of the area’s oldest citizens, Curtis Tigard, will soon be celebrating his 108th birthday, and community residents are invited to come to an event that will celebrate his special day.
The John Tigard House Museum will be hosting special birthday festivities for Curtis, whose father founded the town. Fresh carrot cake and other refreshments will be severed, and guests will have an opportunity to meet with Mr. Tigard and wish him many happy returns of the day. They can also have their photos taken with him, and tours of the museum will also be offered.
The function is family friendly, and everyone is welcome to attend this event that not only celebrates a birthday but the community Mr. Tigard and his family helped to build.
No admission price will be charged to attend the party, but contributions to the museum will be greatly appreciated, as it depends on public support. A Print company can supply everything, from Banners to personalized Invitations, cards, and more that can help to ensure that a function such as this is a success.
Mr. Tigard will be marking the occasion of his 108th birthday a week tomorrow, April 15, from 1:00 pm until 3:00 pm at the corner of Canterbury and SW 103rd in Tigard. Additional information about both the festivities and the museum that will be hosting them can be found on its website.
