Beaverton residents, and those in nearby Tigard, can take in a musical performance before January is out.
The Beaverton Woodwind ensemble is putting on its 41st concert at the Beaverton City Library Auditorium in just over a week’s time.
With Larry Erickson as the conductor, the concert will feature woodwind chamber music from the 21st Century. A flute and clarinet duet will play ‘Airheads’, along with a sonata. The ‘clarinets a battuta’ ensemble will also play several pieces.
It is likely the group has asked Stationery printers to create concert programs that would list the songs, performers, and type of instruments being used in each performance. Programs are often kept as souvenirs of the evening.
The venue for the concert, Beaverton City Library Auditorium, is located on 12375 SW Fifth Street and also houses the Beaverton Civic Theater. At over 1,700 square feet in area, the auditorium can seat 150 people and is also handicap accessible.
The concert will take place on January 28 at 7:00 pm, and those who enjoy the occasion will be able to head along to two further performances in the next couple of months. The ensemble will be taking on some classics on February 7, and shows are also booked in on March 17 and 18. All performances begin at 7:00 pm, and further info is available on the ensemble’s website.Get a Free Quote for Stationery
