Kyle Knepper has been appointed as the new Executive Director of the Tigard Downtown Alliance (TDA).

Knepper has lived in Tigard for the past 18 years and has been a lifelong resident of Washington County. The extensive knowledge of the local area has provided him with many connections within the community so that he can have an immediate and meaningful impact on the city of Tigard. Knepper also has a proven track record in the broadcast media and e-commerce industries and has a passion for community development.

In his role as executive director, Knepper will oversee the many initiatives that are designed to enhance the experience of the downtown, including community engagement projects, events, and enhancements to the streetscape. It is expected that he will be able to bring new attention to downtown Tigard as he draws inspiration from his previous successful positions in economic development and community engagement.

Knepper said there is immense potential in downtown Tigard and he expressed excitement about working with the team of the TDA to create a dynamic environment for businesses, the community, and its visitors.
