This Friday, June 1, Music in the Gardens will be presented at the Desert Botanical Gardens located at 1201 N. Galvin Parkway in Phoenix, Arizona. This concert event will take place from 7:30pm to 9:30 pm. Doors open at 6:00 pm.
This event features the Shri Blues Band with new vocalist, Kate Parker. This band consists of seven very talent musicians that bring a mix of classic rock and blues that inspire the soul. Other members of the band include Doug Fulker , Franck Giambelluco, Nachama Greenwald , Steve Ball, Tina Zuccarello, and Zac Parker.
The group is based in Prescott, Arizona and has been around since 1993. They have played at festivals, in clubs, and at concerts in Europe and here at home. Taking the influences of great blues, rock, and R&B artists such as James Brown, Taj Mahal, and Marva White, they have created the truly toe-tapping, danceable mix of blues, classic rock, soul, and R& B which they play today.
This is, in fact, the first in a series of Friday night concerts at the venue. Forthcoming acts include a tribute to The Who and the blues quintet The Sugar Thieves, who wowed crowds in Oregon last year, drawing in residents of areas like Tigard.
Brochure printing and flyer printing may have been used to promote the Shri Blues Band’s curtain-raising performance at the Music in the Garden concert. Admission is $15 for members and $21 for non-members. For additional information, please visit the Music in the Garden website or call 480-481-8104.
