Construction is almost completed on a fully electric development in the Tigard Triangle.
The Steward is a building that is five stories in height and spans 80,000 square feet. DIG Real Estate is the developer with Josh and Brenner Daniels at the helm. It is on S.W. Hampton Street and will have commercial space on the ground floor to be occupied by Adama Diarra, a primary care physician, and 55 apartments above that.
Brochure printing can be used to provide more details about the features and amenities of such apartment units.
It is expected that The Steward will achieve net zero status soon after it opens. The Energy Trust of Oregon has partnered with DIG Real Estate in the Path to Net Zero program. Earth Advantage gold certification is also being sought by the project team. Josh Daniels said that the Energy Trust of Oregon has told them that this will be the first Path to Net Zero building on the west side of the Willamette River in the metropolitan area of Portland.
Juliette Poff, marketing specialist at Energy Trust of Oregon, said that more comfortable homes and lower energy bills for families are a result of buildings that use less energy. She added that they are glad to support DIG and other developers who are looking to bring the benefits of renewable and efficient energy to residents of Oregon.
Leasing is currently underway for the apartment units.
