An event is coming to Tigard that will combine hot air ballooning with a variety of other activities.
The Festival of Balloons will feature early morning launches of the colorful aircraft. Throughout the day, those who come out can browse through the different business and craft vendor booths that well be set up for the three days of the celebration. There will also be a Festival of Cars, live music, a carnival, cotton candy and other food, clowns and much more.
One of the parts of the event that has proven to be very popular will take place again this year. The Night Glow, where the tethered balloons are lit up while music plays will happen on both Friday and Saturday nights.
The event will take place from June 24th until June 26th at Tigard’s Cook Park. Tickets are available both in person and online. They cost $ 5 each if purchased in advanced, while they will cost $7 at the gate.
Funds raised during the Festival of Balloons are distributed to different not for profit groups throughout the community, and it receives sponsorship from a variety of local businesses and organizations. Marketing services for festivities such as this can be performed by a Print company, which can also provide any printing that is required.
