A day of Easter fun is coming to Tigard, and kids up to age 10 can put their egg hunting skills to the test.
The third annual Egg Hunt, which will be held rain or shine, will be divided into three age groups. Admission for the activity will be $3 per child.
Families who wish to participate in the event are asked to gather at the Cook Park Shelter to register and check in, and they are also reminded to bring along their own basket to hold the treats they gather. Along with the search for the eggs, there will be a crafting station, and the Easter Bunny himself will be on hand to meet the children. A raffle has been planned, and an assortment of prizes will be drawn for.
Value Village and Greenburg Pediatric Dentistry have partnered with the city to offer this function to the community. The organizers of the day wished to express their thanks to these businesses for their support. A local printer can use graphic design to craft a variety of promotional materials that let local households know when an event like this is taking place in their community.
The hunt will begin at 10:00 for the children who are between the ages of 0 to 3. The next age group will begin their search at 10:30 am, and the final group will start at 11:00 am. March 31 has been chosen as the date for this activity, and more details, including an offer for a discounted admission price, can be found on its Facebook listing.
