Comics, the creative process, and those who do the creating have always been the overriding focus of this event, but there is much to see and experience besides this. The Rose City Comic Con is a family-friendly experience that also delves into sci-fi, cosplay, fantasy, gaming, anime, and more.
Events held in large venues frequently employ banner printing services.
Organizers are pleased to announce that the recent SAG-AFTRA strike will have little effect on this event. According to the organization’s website:
“Appearances, panels, fan meet and greets, etc. are all okay, as long as they do not promote struck work or struck companies.”
Everyone over the age of two will require a badge to get in, but badges for kids ages three through ten are good for all three days. Those 11 and over will require a regular badge. Active military personnel can get a $5 badge discount when showing proof of active military service at registration. More information on badges is available here.
Rose City Comic Con will take place September 22 to 24. Organizers wish to remind the public that only officially approved service animals are permitted. Also, outside food and drink cannot be brought into the Oregon Convention Center and only simulated or costume weapons are permitted.
