The Portland Book Festival doesn’t take place until early November, but festival passes and special tickets for this popular event are already on sale.
The festival’s author lineup has been announced by the event sponsor Literary Arts and this year over 100 authors will appear on multiple stages, including the Portland Art Museum and other neighboring venues.
An array of genres will be included in this year's Festival with poetry, literary fiction, memoirs and Books for teens and younger children among those represented.

Authors headlining this year’s event will include political leader and bestselling novelist Stacey Abrams who will speak at the Arlene Schnitzer Concert Hall at noon as well as Rebecca Yarros, author of Fourth Wing who will precede Ms. Abrams at 10 am at the same venue and on the same stage. Attending the lecture of either of these speakers will require a special ticket.
Passes at the door will cost $25 advance tickets will be $18. Included with a general ticket purchase is a $5 voucher good for use at the book fair. Those under 17 or who have a high school ID can enter for free. For $5 SNAP/Oregon Trail Card holders can buy an Arts for All pass.
The 2025 Portland Book Festival will take place in downtown Portland on November 8.
