Beer run brings good vibes to Portland

A Portland brewery has announced that it will be hosting a 5K run this June, providing area residents a way to enjoy fun in the sun for a good cause.

Portland residents who are ready to enjoy the summer weather and an opportunity to stay active will want to save the date of the upcoming 5K Beer Run, presented by Ruse Brewery. The day promises to be full of fun and community, as well as a chance to bond over a love of great beer.

The course will measure out to roughly 5 kilometers along the Springwater Corridor before ending at the Ruse Brewery Taproom. Interested parties of all skill and experience levels are welcome to sign up, as the fun run will serve as a fundraiser. Banner printing gives organizers a memorable way to welcome runners and walkers to the finish line while promoting the running event to passersby.

The money raised at this year’s fun run will benefit Big Brothers Big Sisters Columbia Northwest, with the funds helping nearly 300 local children get matched with a mentor. Runners will receive a complimentary craft beer at the finish line, along with a collector’s item.

Ruse Brewing, located at 4784 Southeast 17th Avenue in Portland, will host the 5K run. It’s set for Saturday, June 6th, starting at 10:00 AM. Registration costs $41.83 per person online.
