Jazz lovers in Portland may be eagerly awaiting the 46th annual Cathedral Park Jazz Festival next month.
The event is considered the longest running jazz festival west of the Mississippi, and has long been considered a favorite among music lovers.
Sleeper Wave and three other bands will play on Friday, Kids Junk Orchestra and five others on Saturday, and finally, The Rock-Tets and four other bands will perform on Sunday, the final day of the festival. The Jazz Society of Oregon has the full lineup available on its website.
The society is a non-profit run by volunteers and is always looking for sponsorship partners to keep its events free. Business owners who are interested in donating money, products, or services can do so on the website. Attending a festival like this as a sponsor can be good way to make people aware of a business by handing out promotional Pens or other products.
This is a free, all-ages event. Lawn chairs and blankets are welcome, but umbrellas are not due to blocking the views of others. Only service animals are permitted to enter. The Cathedral Park Jazz Festival will take place from July 17-19, beginning at 4:30 pm on Friday and 1:00 pm on Saturday and Sunday. Attendees are advised to arrive early for street parking, or to take public transportation.Get a Free Quote for Pens
