Wheelchair securement company opens manufacturing in Stow

The office and manufacturing space of AMF Bruns of America has been completed and is now open in Stow.

The new building spans 41,000 square feet and has enabled the company to expand its production capacity with space for additional growth. Banner printing can be used at such sites to inform residents of such additions to the community.

Executives and owners of AMF Bruns from Germany expressed their passion for the market in North America and pride in their presence in Ohio. They also expressed their gratitude for their supporters, partners, and the team on site and thanked the city of Stow for the warm welcome.

Peter Haarhuis, CEO of AMF Bruns, said that it was 13 years ago when the company established physical operations in Ohio and that since then the company has grown from a one-man operation, then three employees in Hudson to the 33 employees now in this new facility.

One of the owners of the company, Gerit Bruns, said that the company used to work out of Germany and export its products to other countries. He added that although it is still a global economy it is now more important to have a local presence in this type of market. In addition, the company presented to the Stow-Monroe Falls Community Foundation a check for $10,000.
