New burger restaurant opens in Stow

Stow is now home to a new Wayback Burgers.

The eatery is owned and operated by Raj Patel. This is the second location of Wayback Burgers in Summit County and the sixth location in the state. Located in Fishcreek Plaza on Kent Road, it spans 1,880 square feet. Such new locations of a chain often rely on banner printing to attract new and existing customers.

The restaurant has a transparent kitchen and a pass through so that customers can see their food being prepared through the windows.

Signature burger items include the Classic, the Bourbon Bacon, and the Double Bacon, all with two beef patties. Other signature burgers feature extra cheese, A1 steak sauce, chili, and Cajun remoulade. Customers can also craft their own single or double burger.

Additional menu items include crispy and grilled chicken sandwiches, cheesesteaks, veggie burgers, salads, chicken tenders, and side dishes, such as a variety of French fries, onion rings, tater tots, cheese curds, and fried pickles. There is also a menu for children and hand-dipped milkshakes made with milk and ice cream from Blue Bunny.

The location in Stow is open Sunday through Thursday from 11:00 am to 11:00 pm, and on Friday and Saturday from 11:00 am to midnight.

Wayback Burgers was founded in Newark, Delaware in 1991 and is based in Cheshire, Connecticut.
