Renowned singer/songwriter return on tour to Stow area

The acclaimed “A Quiet Celebration Tour” of Paul Simon will be coming to Cuyahoga Falls this summer. Residents of nearby Stow who like his music might be interested in attending.

Simon’s shows this year are in a two-part format. The concert opens with a full performance of “Seven Psalms,” his composition from 2023 that lasts 33 minutes. This is followed by a brief intermission, after which he performs his greatest hits from both the classics of Simon and Garfinkel and his solo music.

Such unique performances can be promoted throughout a city and neighboring communities with poster printing.

This concert and tour come after his “Homeward Bound” tour in 2019 which was first considered his farewell tour. He has since suffered some hearing loss and wrote the acoustic song cycle “Seven Palms,” which was his 15th studio album, This was releases four years later and he returned to the road last year.

This tour is to travel to some of the outdoor venues that are favorites of fans and the most in demand in North America, and include Red Rocks Amphitheatre in Morrison, Colorado; the Hollywood Bowl in Los Angeles, California; and the Koussevitzky Music Shed at Tanglewood in Lenox, Massachusetts.

Paul Simon will be at the Cuyahoga Falls’ Blossom Music Center on Tuesday June 23.
