Additional visitors hailing from all over the world have made visits, including those from Israel, Italy, Hungary, the Netherlands, Germany, France, and Canada.
Director of Parks and Recreation, Jessica Simons, said:
“Reaching all 50 states during our 50th anniversary season is an incredible milestone for Silver Springs Campground and for the City of Stow. It’s exciting to see just how far Silver Springs reaches. We’re very proud of the campground’s 50-year history and grateful to every camper who has made Silver Springs part of their journey.”
Situated on Young Road in Silver Springs Park, the campground provides visitors with a traditional outdoor getaway set amid one of the largest natural recreation areas in the community. The campground includes 27 sites equipped with electrical service, picnic tables, and fire rings, allowing guests to enjoy modern conveniences while experiencing the atmosphere of classic camping.
Among the park’s recreational facilities are basketball and tennis courts, an extensive network of trails, catch-and-release fishing at Heritage Lake, and an open field for tossing Frisbees, launching model rockets, and flying kites. The campground is also a pet-friendly destination with a dedicated play area for dogs.
