Stow to celebrate Independence with Firecracker Run

Stow will be celebrating America with its Firecracker Run and Fourth of July Parade.

There will be both a four-mile and two-mile run. The cost to pre-register for the four-mile run is $35 and $25 for the two-mile run.

The Firecracker Run will Participants can pick up their packets beginning at 6:00 a.m. with the run beginning at 7:30 a.m. at Holy Family Church, continuing east on Kent Road to the Stow Community Shopping Center, and then returning to the church by 9:00 a.m. This will be on Saturday July 4.

The parade will be hosted by the City of Stow Parks and Recreation Department, which promises to make this the most exciting parade in its 68-year history as it commemorates the 250th anniversary of America.

The theme of this year’s parade is “Celebrate America! Celebrate Community!” and will bring together local organizations, residents, and businesses in a lively display of pride in the community and patriotism. There will be marching groups, festive floats, music, and colorful displays of red, white, and blue to honor the past, present, and future of the country.

The parade will start at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday July 4 at the Stow Community Center and then follow Kent Road ending at the Holy Family Church at noon.

Poster printing can be used to promote such special events throughout a city and neighboring communities.
