The city of Stow will be hosting a Haunted Hayride next month at Silver Springs Park.
This will be a festive fall ride through the campground of the park to see a scarier and spookier side of the park. Hay wagons will depart every 10 to 15 minutes from the parking lot for the baseball field and travel through all 27 sites in the campground, where there will be Halloween inspired decorations.
At the end of the ride at the Heritage Barn, riders will hear a story from those at the Stow-Munroe Fall Public Library, be able to take photographs, pick up s’mores as a snack, and then embark on the Toasty Trail, which is lit by a bonfire to guide people back to the parking lot. There will also be warm drinks and food available for purchase at the park.
Families need to register all members in advance. The cost is $5.00 per person for residents of Stow and $8.00 for non-residents. Children under two years of age and younger are free.
Such events often benefit from poster printing to promote themselves throughout a city and neighboring communities.
Sponsors of this event are Laundry Time, Kremer Realty Inc., At Your Service Roofing, and the Law Offices of Thomas C. Loepp.
This event will take place on Saturday, October 11 from 5:30 to 8:00 p.m.
