Stow to ring in the holiday season

The Stow area will be celebrating the holiday season with two events this year.

Attendees at the Wine and Design: Holiday Cookie Decorating will learn how to professionally decorate ice cookies. One’s favorite beverages and snacks can be brought to the event, which will enable attendees to learn how to decorate sugar cookies with a holiday theme while spending time and having fun with family and friends.

The cost to attend is $30 per person to cover the cost of the cookies and materials. Wine and Design: Holiday Cookie Decorating will be held at the Leona Farris Lodge on Stow Road in Stow on Thursday November 30 from 6:30 to 8:30pm.

The city of Stow will also be holding Glow with Stow Holiday Lighting. This is an event for the entire family with an evening filled with many activities. Poster printing is often used to promote such seasonal events throughout a city and the surrounding communities.

There will be a Santa’s Workshop with crafts provided by the Home Depot of Cuyahoga Falls. There will be visits with Santa and Mrs. Claus, train rides, ice sculpture carving, and Santa’s magical live reindeer.

Performances will be provided by stilt walkers and the acapella group “Premium Blend”. Food vendors will also be onsite to provide refreshment.

Glow with Stow will be held from 5:00 to 8:30pm on Saturday December 2.
