Stow to hold end of summer festival

The Summer Sunset Blast will be held in Stow at the beginning of next month.

This is the end of summer celebration for the city which features activities for children, a food festival, craft beer, and spectacular fireworks.

Each day of the event will have a petting zoo from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m., inflatables and Rockwell from 5:00 to 10:00 p.m., and entertainment in the evening. On the first day, The Players Club, an Ohio cover band, will feature music from the past with unstoppable charisma and energy. The second day will feature Artist Karri Fedor & Kerosene, also a cover band, playing the songs of diverse artists with a sound that is unique to the band. The grand finale fireworks will be at 9:00 p.m. on the second day.

Food vendors will be on hand all day and will include Uncle Bacon’s BBQ, Stow-Munroe Falls Booster Club offering hot dogs, French fries, and slushies CC Foods which specializes in Funnycakes and sticks, Dog Days Lemonade, and Dr. Hibachi. Business and organization vendors will include Mr. Bulky Foos, Cleveland Clinic Lifestyles, the Stow City Council, and Trinity Lutheran Church - Kent offering Kettle corn.

Local Print shops often assist with promoting such special events by printing Flyers and Posters with more details about activities, entertainment, and sponsors.

The Stow Summer Sunset Blast will take place on Saturday September 2 and Sunday September 3.
