Stow hosts free summer events and activities

The city of Stow will be holding several events over the summer.

Such events are often promoted throughout a city with poster printing.

A free program for families will be the Connect with Nature: Wildflower Nature Hike Tea Party. Attendees will experience the Wildflower Prairie at Adell Durbin Park, which will be in full bloom. This will be a guided hike during which attendees will learn about the pollinators and flowers and be able to collect some treasures, which will then be assembled into nature mandalas. This will be followed by a tea party at the Nature Nook shelter. This event will be from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm on Monday, August 5.

Playing and Pages: Pop Up in the Park will take place in the Heather Hills Neighborhood Park with a free fun evening of music, treats, and games, as well as a free book for each child. Departments from the city of Stow, the Stow-Munroe Falls Public Library, and Stow City Commissions will be joining the event. This will be from 6:00 pm to 7:30 pm on Tuesday, August 13.

Finally, residents and volunteers are invited to help with the collection of trash along major roads in the city for a Team Up 2 Clean Up event. Those who help will be given a safety T-shirt and clean-up supplies. This will be held on Saturday, August 24 from 8:00 am to 11:00 am.
