The city of Stow will be celebrating Earth Day and Arbor Day at Adell Durbin Park later this month.
There will be many family-friendly activities as well as activities especially for children. Guided hikes will start the day as attendees can enjoy the Signs of spring and appreciate nature’s beauty. There will also be a tree planting demonstration in the morning. The city of Stow Urban Forestry will have a passport for the day so that attendees can pick up Stamps from organizations and return their filled passports for a chance to win a free tree.
Summit Metro Parks will have a booth so that people can learn about wild back yards. Rubber City Reuse will have demonstrations and discussions about composting services. The Akron Audubon Society will have information about birding and Migratory Bird Day.
Stow Parks and Recreation will also be at the festivities and the Stow-Munroe Falls Public Library will have crafts for children. Summit County Beekeepers will have a hive on display, while the Environmental Protection Agency will have stormwater information. Furthermore, Summit County Master Gardeners will have information about gardening.
Such events provide an ideal opportunity for organizations to turn to local Print shops to help them create Flyers and Brochures about their services and offers.
Earth Day and Arbor Day will take place from 10:00 am to noon on Saturday, April 27. The event is free, although registration is required.Get a Free Quote for Brochures Get a Free Quote for Print Get a Free Quote for Flyers Get a Free Quote for Stamps Get a Free Quote for Signs
