CooperVision Inc. has recently announced 10 new optometry practices to its list of the Best Practices honorees for 2019. Northeast Ohio Eye Surgeons, with offices in Kent, Stow, and Akron, made the list.
Northeast Ohio Eye Surgeons has been providing surgical and medical care to improve the eyesight of its patients for over 35 years. Owners of the practice are Drs. Matthew Willett, Marc Jones, and Lawrence Lohman, who firmly believe that their patients come first. They endeavor on a monthly basis to improve the experience of their patients and contribute regularly at local, state, and national meetings to ensure a more informed community.

The Best Practices program of Coopervision recognizes and honors practices in this country that find ways to provide exceptional care to their patients. Senior director of professional and academic affairs, North America, CooperVision, Michele Andrews, OD, said that Best Practices is one way that the company can partner with eyecare professionals.
Andrews added that many optometry practices have faced many challenges, taken risks to overcome them, and have been motivated to help their patients, and that it is rewarding to hear their stories and learn about their experiences. She added that these experiences should be shared with other practices to inspire them to implement changes, take a new approach, and improve the success of their practices.
