Originally, Stow Township belonged to Trumbull before Partridge and then eventually settled on calling Summit County home. It was initially drafted as Town 3, Range 10. Now it firmly belongs to Summit County, Ohio and to the Akron metropolitan area. In 1809, Stow welcomed John Graham, who bought a farm in an area which is now known as West Graham Road.
