New supermarket in Stow to offer home delivery

The Meijer supercenter that recently opened in Stow and two other stores in Northeast Ohio recently announced that they will be offering home delivery 24 hours a day. Other supermarkets in the area, including Giant Eagle and Acme, currently offer home delivery.

Officials from the store announced that it is offering a $50 discount off its annual home delivery service price through the beginning of June. An annual membership means that there are no fees for orders over $35, but there is a flat fee of $7 for all orders under that amount.

Poster printing can be used by such stores to promote any special services and special inaugural discounts.

Shipt is the internet delivery company with which Meijer is partnering in order to provide this home delivery service. The company was founded in Birmingham, Alabama in 2014 and now operates in over 260 cities across the United States. Customers are contacted by Shipt by text and then the company shops for the customers. CVS, Target, and other retailers use this service for home delivery.

There are many products Meijer customers can order using this service. Grocery items include produce and other food items, bottled water, beer and wine, and pet food, while such goods as health and beauty items, school supplies, toys, and electronics can also be delivered.
