It was recently announced that the Meijer grocery and retail store will be opening in the Stow-Kent Shopping Center later this month.
The opening of the Meijer store is bringing life to a retail strip in Stow that had been declining. The new store will replace what was once a Big Lots and four smaller retail outlets.
The store will be 192,000 square feet, employing 250 people. Featured in the store will be dairy and meat delivered seven days a week, fresh produce, and a bakery with freshly baked bread and other items. There will also be a pharmacy that has a free prescription program from the company.
Promotional Products can be used to publicize the opening of a new retail outlet in town and advertise its many products and services.
Regional Vice President of Meijer, Tom Wilson, expressed the company’s excitement about opening this store in Northeast Ohio. The chain has been in business since 1981 in Ohio and customers in the state have enjoyed the wide selection of general merchandise, grocery and bakery items, and the store’s overall affordability.
The grand opening is scheduled for May 14 and the company plans to open two other stores in Mentor and Akron on the same day. Beginning on May 19, there will be special events and promotions.Get a Free Quote for Promotional Products
