New manufacturing facility opens in Stow
AML3D USA Inc. has opened a technology center in the United States in Stow. The new facility combines the headquarters of AML3D with a modern purpose-built manufacturing hub, with exceptional transport links and logistics.

AML3D is an industrial metal 3D printing company based in Australia. The new facility has an advanced ARCEMY system that makes metal industrial-scale components and parts printed in three dimensions for the growing list of its customers based in the United States, as well as around the world.
The new facility in Stow is already working on an order from the Tennessee Valley Authority in the amount of $1.46 million. This order will enable the company to invest an additional amount of $7.7 million to double its capacity and install two more ARCEMY systems. This expansion will also enable the company to support the Submarine Industrial Base of the United States Navy and an increase in spending by the Department of Defense, along with enabling it to expand into the aerospace, defense, and energy sectors.
President of United States Operations at AML3D, Pete Goumas, said that the opening of this technology center in Stow is extremely exciting for the company, so that it can be more responsive to its customers and be in a better position to win new contracts.
