A new shop for professional cleaning and grooming of pets opened this week in Ravenna.
Pet owners from nearby Stow may want to visit Canine Couture to meet the owner and get acquainted with its services.
The owner is Rachael Graham who has been grooming both cats and dogs for 24 years. She previously owned a grooming business in Stow, which she sold, and also did grooming for a veterinarian in Rootstown.
Among the services offered at Canine Couture are nail clipping, cleaning teeth and ears, grooming, and shampooing. Brochure printing can be used to provide more details about such services and their pricing.
The new shop is in the plaza across from Giant Eagle. Graham said the shop needed many renovations that included new flooring, fresh paint, and a new décor. There is a greeting and waiting area, behind which is a grooming area in a large open space. The cats and dogs are groomed on tables that go up and down depending on the size of the pet.
Graham added that there are other benefits that come with the new shop. She can spend more time with her human clients and often she is able to discover medical issues that often go unnoticed by veterinarians. She can refer the pet to a veterinarian to handle such issues.
