Several holiday events and activities will be taking place in Stow this month.
Poster printing is often used throughout a city to make residents aware of such festive events.
The city of Stow is already lit up for this year’s holiday season. The city center is filled with lights and displays, which residents can enjoy as they walk through the downtown area. Known as Glow with Stow, this festive display runs through Sunday, January 3.
There will also be The Colors of Christmas later this month. This is a community tour celebration throughout the city allowing residents to enjoy the holiday spiritlive nativities, festive lights, singing, and much more. Among the churches participating in this event are The Stow Community United Church, the Holy Family Catholic Church, St. Stephen Lutheran Church, and the First Christina Church of Stow. The Stow-Glen Retirement Village will be hosting the live nativity. This event will be held on Tuesday, December 15 from 5:00 to 8:00 pm.
A Christmas Eve Jingle will be held to welcome Santa Claus to the city. The city is asking that residents step outside their homes into their front yards at 6:00 pm and ring bells for two minutes. This is designed to show children that Santa is important and can still make stops in the city to deliver presents.
