The fourth annual Punk Rock Flea Market will be coming to Akron next month. Residents of nearby Stow who are interested in these items will not want to miss this event.
Over 125 alternative vendors and artists, unique makers, crafters, and small independent businesses from all over the state are expected, as well as from neighboring towns and cities, states, and communities. Among the items at the flea market will be vintage clothing, handmade jewelry, macabre creations, original art and graphic Apparel, and vinyl toys and figures.
The market will feature live music, food trucks, and alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages. It will be in downtown Akron at the Cascade Plaza, just a few blocks from The University of Akron.
Such events can benefit from poster printing to promote them throughout a city and neighboring communities.
The event is presented by We Are The Weirdos Ohio, an organization that was founded four years ago when Rachel Raymond and Math Byler were starting up their graphic clothing brand Xraeart Clothing Co., and discovered that it did not fit well with the traditional markets in northeast Ohio. The first Punk Rock Flea Market was organized by them in Summer 2022 to provide more chances for alternative artists to sell their goods.
This event will be on Saturday, August 9 from noon to 6:00 pm.
