The Licking County Trap Neuter Release (LCTNR) program will hold a fundraising festival in Newark to help support its programs.
The Feral Fling is an annual activity where people can help the LCTNR improve the quality of life for local cats. The event will include food from Smokin’ J’s and a beer garden. There will be several ways to help raise money for the LCTNR during the festival, including silent auctions, 50/50 drawings, and raffles. The program will take place at The Maennerchor, and Matt Avery will play live music at the event.
The LCTNR is a volunteer-staffed program that works to help feral and abandoned cats by controlling the population growth of wild cats and sterilizing them. Felines taken in by the organization are also treated for fleas and intestinal parasites. Over 1,000 cats have been impacted by the program. The group hosts many kinds of fundraising events, like the annual Highway 40 Garage Sale. People can donate items to the organization for its yard sale event.
The Feral Fling will be held on Sunday, August 13 from 5:00 pm to 8:00 pm. Tickets to the program will cost $20 per person. Guests are also able to make additional donations to the LCTNR to help support its mission. Local organizations that put together gatherings such as this may use poster printing to help their cause be noticed by more people.
